Lawrence James Kaminski

Lawrence James Kaminski, age 76, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1945 in Erie, Pennsylvania to parents Frank and Mary Kaminski (nee Sajewski).

Lawrence proudly served in the United States Army from 1967 – 1970, which included 2 tours in Vietnam. After the Army, he worked in avionics for the following companies: Mercury Aviation, Ohio Aviation, Wright Airlines, then retiring from Airborne Express. Mr. Kaminski was known as a Mr. Fixit, and loved cars, especially his black Bullitt Mustang. He also enjoyed watching the evolution of the space program as Lawrence faithfully watched almost every launch of the Space X program.

Mr. Kaminski was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Nancy Eckert.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Susan L. Kaminski (nee Leibitzke); daughter, Christine Harmeyer (John); sons, Alexander and Christopher Kaminski; sister, Linda Alonge (Jim); brothers, Frank Kaminski, Phil Kaminski (Mary Ellen), and Carl Kaminski (Sarah); and grandpuppies, Daisy, Ellie, Gracie, Sasha, and Sophie.
