

Lewis King, beloved son of the late Monroe and Margaret King, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Lewis was born on December 23, 1940. His mother passed away at a very young age and Hattie Morton raised Lewis alongside her daughter, Hazel. After graduating, Lewis when to work for Square D Corporation full time and also part time at Central Pastry in Middletown. He met and married Rita Rolsin and to this union a son, Steve King, was born. Steve became the youngest brother to Mike and Derik King and late Craig Rolsin. Lewis retired from Square D Corporation after more than 30 years of service.
You could find Lewis golfing with Wilton Nicholson at Weatherwax Gold Course several times a week. Lewis was a jokester, loved to dance, travel, have fun and hang out with his brother, the late James "Bro" King. He was very loving loyal to his family and friends.
Lewis leaves to cherish his memory his sons Mike (Melanie) King, Derik (Sherri) King, Steve King; his four grandchildren, Michael King Jr, Bentley King, Iesha King, and Taylor King; his two great grandchildren, Kaizer, Lynnox and his sister, Hazel Watts, nieces and nephews, his good friends Jim Gates, Harry Truss and Sonny Cobb. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Monroe and Margaret King, brothers James "Bro" King, Sr., Rance Johnson, Theola King, step-son Craig Rolsin and good friend Robert "Bob" Watts.
Homegoing services will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be at the Anderson Lift Celebration Center 360 Commerce Park Dr., Franklin, Ohio from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
