

Logan “Whitey” Lindon Jr., age 88, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born January 25, 1937, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, to George Logan and Janie (Bailey) Lindon, Logan spent his life devoted to family, community, and the pursuits he loved.
He dedicated 44 years of service to General Motors – Delco Moraine Plant in Dayton, Ohio, and was a proud member of the Middletown Sportsman’s Club. He was a lifetime member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (A.T.A). Renowned in the trapshooting community, Logan was known as a “Sandbagger” or as he would call it “Target Management”.
A member of Pieratt Masonic Lodge #725 in Lee City, Kentucky for six decades, Logan was also an avid outdoorsman. He cherished hunting, fishing, bluegrass music, and card games with those closest to him.
Logan was preceded in death by his parents and all 14 of his siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Janice (Hoskins) Lindon; his children, James (April) Lindon and Joyce (Luther) Hacker; and his four grandchildren, Logan Tyler Lindon, Sidney Lindon, Steven Hacker, and Michael Hacker. He leaves behind a large extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th, from 6 to 8 p.m., with funeral services on Tuesday, September 16th, at 1 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second Street, Franklin, OH 45005. Interment service will follow at Springboro Cemetery, 2348 W. Lower Springboro Road, Springboro, OH 45066.
