Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lois Annette (Elliott) Abrams, went home to be with our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 @10:13 PM. She had suffered many years from Kidney disease and had finally hit End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). This placed her on peritoneal dialysis, for her final 14 months. She had just turned 87 at the time of her ‘graduation’.
Funeral services for will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Franklin Baptist Church located at 160 Deardoff Dr., Franklin, OH 45005, officiated by Lois‘ longtime pastor, Michael Gray. With final service held at the graveside at Rosehill Cemetery in Hamilton Ohio officiated by Ethan Daves. With the church graciously, providing a meal immediately following. Songs by Mike Gray, and Josh Clifford. Pallbearers will include Jeremy Elton, Blake Hunter, Paul Isaacs, Loretta Bowman, Nick Southard and Robby Quigley.
Lois always knew the important of having JESUS CHRIST in her life, and she instilled that in
her children and grand children at a very young age!!! She raised three children, Loretta Lynn (Abrams) Bowman (60), Louis Lynn Abrams (55) and Lee Annette (Abrams) Isaacs (57) [Paul Isaacs] in a happy and loving home to be independent and thoughtful adults who honor our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Lois was married for 7 years to her soulmate, Lynn Abrams who preceded her in death. As a grandmother to Kayla J (Bowman) Hunter (37) [Blake Hunter] and Morgan Nikol (Bowman) Elton (30) [Jeremy Elton], she was the "sweet grandma with a touch of spice". She generally just plain loved spoiling them rotten. Lois was also blessed with 5 beautiful great-granddaughters who she dearly loved, and never missed an opportunity to share JESUS with them. Alyssa Lynn Southard (16), Elizabeth Nikol Southard (14), Anna Marie Southard (12) Lucy Jean Elton (10) and Rosalie Juliet Elton (6).
Lois is best known for her immense love for Jesus, her smile, her love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her friends; her spunk, and the fact that she found a way to share Jesus in everything she did! Whether it be a subtle conversation with the clerk at the grocery store, or teaching bible studies…Lois loved the LORD. From a very young age she taught her children about JESUS through evening family devotions, with her daily witness, church attendance and service to the LORD. She was a Sunday School Teacher for many years, she assisted to organized a VBS each year at Franklin Commons, in the 80’s, going on a Missions trip to Grants, NM and even in her 80’s conducted prophecy Bible studies at the Harding House. But, Lois is also known for her ornery side. She has been known to tease her grand-babies, dress up for Halloween and frighten an entire neighborhood, and most famously she is known as Mama Mafia…for a water gun incident where she disarmed a teenage young man and use it against him… then sat in her lawn chair shooting anyone who dared to get near her…lol.
Lois may no longer be with us from day to day; but before she passed she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh and for us to remember that she is in heaven with Jesus, as we celebrate her HOME GOING.
