Louis Greene

He was saved at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church January 12, 1941 at age 13. He came to Ohio in 1949, where he became a member of Bethel Miss. Baptist Church November 22, 1958 and ordained deacon on October 1, 1961. He was a trustee and singing leader for many years. He attended the Mulberry Gap Association for 53 years.

Married to Evelyn B. Sims (Beebe) June 9, 1950. To this union was born 3 children, Beverly, Barbara, and Dale.

Preceded in death by his parents Lester (Doc) Greene and Ethel Greene. two brothers, Garrette, Carl; four young siblings and sister, Lillie.

Survived by wife, Evelyn Greene; three children; and one son in law Douglas Hill; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. One brother, Bob of Tenn. two sisters, Imogene Shultz and Carolyn Boggs of Knoxville, Tenn. and a host of relatives and friends.

He was employed in the paper industry for 43 years and became a machinist and master journeyman and retired from Appleton Paper Company in 1993.

Funeral services are Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street Springboro, OH with Rev. Andrew Greene officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service from 4:00pm to 6:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial in Springboro Cemetery.
