Margo Elaine Day

Margo Elaine Day, age 70, of Middletown, passed away Saturday morning, July 23, 2016 at Otterbein of Middletown, following a courageous 4-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born December 5, 1945 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late George N. Pardonner and Virginia (Miller) Pardonner. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Fred Day; daughter, Lisa (husband, Tim) Smith; son, Adam (wife, Larissa) Day; grandchildren, Ben and Ethan Smith, Sofia and Henry Day; and a brother, George (wife, Mary) Pardonner.

The family would like to thank the oncology staff at Miami Valley Hospital South, as well as the staff at Otterbein of Middletown, for their skilled and compassionate care. They would also like to thank all of Margo’s close friends, including the Ya-Ya’s, for their friendship and support over the years.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Saturday, July 30, at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Reverend Michelle Terry officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Poasttown.
