Martha Johnston

Martha Marie Johnston age 71 of Springboro, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011. She was born November 21, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of George and Catherine Jenkins. She retired from Allied Signal as a Quality Control Engineer after many years of service. Her faith in the Lord was a testimony and witness to her friends, family, and strangers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ernest Jack Taylor; three brothers, Jack, James, and Paul; and a sister, Geraldine Wilson.

Martha is survived by her son; Terry Taylor; step daughter, Karla Jean Curtis; sister-in-law, Marilyn Jenkins; second husband, David Johnston. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica and Justin; step-grandchildren, Jeremy, Nathan, and Casey; special friends, Sue and Jesse Russell, Kenny Price, and Janet Hale and numerous family and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Baptist Tabernacle (7816 Dubois Road, Franklin, OH) Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties.
