

Mary Jean Detcher, age 63, of Monroe, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born November 17, 1947, the daughter of Harold Nuss and Lois Mehl Nuss. Mary was the Office Manager at the Woodside Cemetery. She was a member of the Monroe Board of Zoning Appeals. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary husband, Jy Ramey of Monroe; and son, Anthony wife, Shawn Wright of Monroe; her mother, Lois Nuss of Middletown; six grandchildren, Austin, Shelby, Kori, Camryn, Taylor and Morgan; two sisters, Nancy husband, Sam Woody, Martha husband, Paul Timberman; and two brothers, David Nuss and Chris wife, Genia Nuss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Detcher in 2004; her brother, Stephen Nuss in 1992; her father, Harold Nuss in 1970; and a grandson, Dustin. Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM, Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Tim Draxler officiating. Entombment will be at the Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Drive, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
