Mary Elizabeth Johnson, age 85, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on November 8, 1939, the daughter of the late Ralph and Martha (Robertson) Cole. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Chester Johnson, her son Ricky Johnson and her daughter-in-law, Jackie Johnson.
Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Mike Gabbard; her son, Tim Johnson; a sister, Juanita Vaughn; a brother, Ralph Cole, Jr.; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and several close friends.
Mary was of the Christian faith.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio.
