Melinda Abney

Melinda “Mandy” Abney, age 52, of Middletown, Ohio, died Monday June 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 8, 1963 to William and Wilma (Stevens) Abney. She dedicated her life to assist with the elderly and was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her father, William Edward Abney, mother, Wilma Jean Abney, and sister, Edwina Jean Mackey. Melinda is survived by her husband Daniel Douglas White; two sons, Steven Edward Carpenter, Brian Matthew Carpenter; daughter, Tiffany Angel Dearth; two grandsons, Gavin Lee James Carpenter, Ashton Michael Voss; five granddaughters, Trista Nicole Carpenter, Avaya Grace Carpenter, Stevie Angel Grimm, Jasmine Nicole Voss, Kaitlynn Jade Voss; two sisters, Candice Sue Burress, Melody Ann Lawson. Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH.
