Renee and Family,  I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing.  He is going to be missed.  I will always remember his smile and hugs.  Mike was an amazing person.  Sending love to you and the family.  Love you. 



Renee I am so sorry for your loss. You and the kids are in my prayers. Mike was always a pleasure to be around. I loved to see him and Patrick doing their bantering across the street it’s a memory that I won’t forget. I’m here if you need me.

Renee and family,  my heart is broken over hearing about Mikes passing.  He was genuinely the most kind, compassionate and empathetic person I’ve ever known.  He has laughed with me, cried with me over my family’s hurt and prayed with me.   I will forever miss him and his warm welcome each and every time I would enter the groomers with my pets!

Mike and I were friends from birth. Mikes dad, Ray was the basketball coach and my dad Jim was the football coach at Belmont High School in the early 60's. We lived 6 or 8 blocks from each other. We went to Orchard Park grade school, then DL Barnes Junior High and our course Ridgemont High(oops Fairmont West). We did stuff I can't explain without an attorney present... Half of the secrets are buried now. Before the  entire world was uptight I remember being at the Belmont basketball games when we were very little and the football players would dress up as large women and dance at halftime. They were known as the Hog ettes..... We totally enjoyed that at 5 years old...
Mike  was a baseball and basketball player and did not play football until high school and was a  fine defensive end. We both got hurt in the same game senior year and so ended up providing emotional support to the team. My leg was in a cast and his right arm was in a cast so  we went out together   everywhere because he had to drive  with one hand  and I had to shift the gears for him. Mike and Renee were married Sept. 17 1988 ...I think  . Jean and I  were married September 16, 1989. A day and a year apart and he always dropped me a note that time of year.  He was my best man. We have been in Chicago for the last 25 years and not close by but he was always my 
best friend.

I have known Mike Lamb since we were in Kindergarten.  I was very sad to hear of his passing and Mike was truly a nice, genuine, and a good man. My condolences and prayers for Mike, his family, and friends.

Thinking of your entire family and praying for peace. I absolutely loved the encounters I had with Mike whether it in the classroom, at the grooming shop, a stop by in the neighborhood, or even at the liquor store. He always made me laugh and I truly loved his energy. He was so thoughtful and kind to my dogs and they loved seeing him, too. When my dogs passed, Mike was the first one to reach out and provide comfort. Mike Lamb will be greatly missed and  I’m so glad I have such fond memories of him.
