Michael S. Williams

Michael Stephen (Bear) Williams, of Carlisle, passed away on February 14, 2026 at 72 years of age. Michael was born December 21, 1953, in Dayton Ohio. The first born child of Bill Williams and Jean Gerard.

He is survived by his wife Maria Louise of 41 years, his brother David Williams, sister Sherri Alexander, brother in law Bruce Alexander, and his granddaughter Kailynn Brooks.

Michael is reunited in death with his daughter, Valarie Nicole and best friend Reese (Marsha) Oliver. He was led in life by Marshal (Jackie) Moore, Paula (Bo) Holiday, along with other close family members and friends.

Michael served in the Navy on the USS Midway as a Petty Officer where he traveled the world visiting countries all over Asia. During his service he was awarded his Shellback and Sailor of the Month. Once honorably discharged from the Navy after 5 years of service, he shared his love for music and outlook on life.

Michael had a passion for vehicles and a good deal, spending many years in the automotive industry. He then dedicated his time to the US postal service where he then retired in 2020.

Family has schedule a celebration of life on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 3 to 5 PM at The Anderson Life Celebration Center, 360 Commerce Center Drive, Franklin, Ohio (behind the funeral home). All family and friends are welcome and encouraged to share their fondest memories of Michael (Bear) Williams.
