Myrtle Griffey went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was born on November 30, 1923 in Menafee County, Kentucky. Myrtle was a valued and very loved mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by many. She is preceded in death by her husband William (Boyd) Griffey, daughter Beverly (Griffey) Collins and son Bill Griffey.
She is survived by her sons Randy Griffey (Sharon) and Darrell Griffey, both of Franklin, Ohio, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Carol Ledford, a dear friend and neighbor, and Hospice of Dayton and Butler and Warren Counties for the exceptional care provided during her times of need.
