Patricia "Patty" A. Smith, age 74, died Saturday, April 11, 2015. She was born August 2, 1940 in Middletown, the daughter of Hobart Smith and Arbus Carroll Smith. Patty was a beloved retiree of 40 years nursing with Premier Health Partners Middletown Regional Hospital/Atrium Medical Center. She is survived by her two sons, Brian L. Smith and Bradley S. Smith; her sister, Bette Jack Whittlesey; her niece, Stephanie Paul Mackey; her nephew, John Whittlesey; and countless friends within the community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Arbus Gomia; her father, Hobart Smith; and step-father, Harley Gomia. Memorial services will be 11:30 AM Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Chaplain Cory Rowe officiating.
