Paul Sterling Roberts

Paul Sterling Roberts age 92 of Franklin Ohio passed away on Saturday April 9, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton Ohio. He has been living the last several months at Bickford Assisted Living in Middletown.

Paul was a life long resident of Franklin/Carlisle area and was born in Franklin to the late Tine and Gertrude Roberts. Paul was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in San Pedro California and a prominent businessman in Franklin for many years. He was owner/broker of Paul S. Roberts Realty until his retirement.

Paul is survived by one son Mike S. Roberts of Batavia Ohio; one granddaughter Ashley Reid of North Carolina; and one great granddaughter Allison Reid; one brother Donald Roberts of Franklin; two sisters Betty L. Hurst and Miriam M. Worley of Franklin; numerous "special" nieces and nephews and their families. Paul was also preceded in death by his loving wife Lorene of 69 years; three sisters Mildred Rockey, Marietta Killen and Hazel Josephine Roberts.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday April 16 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second Street, Franklin. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jerry Back of Community Haven in Middletown. Visitation will be held on Friday evening the 15th from 5 pm to 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Middletown. Paul will be missed by his family for his example integrity and love to God and all.
