Peggy Mae Reed, age 87 of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Middletown, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born June 3, 1930 in Trenton, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth (Elam) Lovelace. Peggy was a member of St. Luke Presbyterian Church. She loved working in her garden, birdwatching and her family. Peggy enjoyed being a seamstress.
She is survived by her daughters, Charma (husband, Jim) Combs, and Judy (husband, Ora) Woodward; sons, Tim (wife, Pam) Reed, and Greg (wife, Mie Young) Reed; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Morton.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Reed; a daughter, Bonnie McGuire; nine sisters; two brothers; a grandson and a great grandson.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Miltonville Cemetery. Please visit www.breitenbach-anderson.com to share a memory or condolence.
