Richard Conrad

Richard C. �Dick� Conrad, passed away peacefully at home Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 surrounded by his loved ones. Dick was born in Lancaster, Ohio on April 11, 1923, to Carroll S. Conrad and Catherine Deeds Conrad. Dick retired from Armco Fabricating after 30 years of service. He was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church and a 60-year member of High Point F&AM #773 of Monroe, Ohio. Dick loved music, both vocal and instrumental. While in college, he was a proud member of the Ohio State University Marching Band. He sang with the Razor�s Edge Barber Shop Chorus, and the Monroe Methodist Choir. Dick is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Mary Jane Carle Conrad; one son, Richard Carle wife, Elizabeth Conrad, and their daughter Elizabeth Corrine of Monroe, Ohio; one daughter, Catherine Ann Conrad and her daughter Caitlin Ariel of Largo, Florida. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 2, at the Monroe United Methodist Church with Pastor Tim Waugh officiating, with visitation one hour before. A Masonic service will be held prior to the memorial service.
