Robert D. Cooper

Robert D. Cooper, age 70, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born December 21, 1944 in Hobart, Oklahoma, the son of the late Thomas Cooper and Dorma Lee(Gibbs) Cooper. Robert was formerly employed with General Motors and was a member of Pennyroyal Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett and Vida Gibbs; step-father, Bill Mann; brother-in-law, Hershel Wilson; and in-laws, George and Marie Wilson. Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anna Cooper; his son, Robert Cooper, Jr.; two brothers, Dan (Sandy) Wright, Bill (Vicky) Mann; sister, Gloria (Mike) Hart; brother-in-law, Jack Wilson; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Clarence (Phyllis) Blankenship, Pauline (Rick) Norman, Vickie Woods and Joe Henley. Funeral service will be Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Tony McKiddy officiating.
