Robert D. Goodwin, age 94, of Miamisburg, Ohio, died Saturday August 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Cadiz, Kentucky on December 17, 1921 to Chester and Ora (Kenady) Goodwin. He was employed with General Motors for 40 years and retired in 1980. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester L. Goodwin, mother, Ora L. Goodwin, and sister, Lurlene Lakes. Robert is survived by his wife, Evelyn J. (Smith) Houghtling two sons, Donald R. Goodwin and Douglas H. Goodwin; and granddaughter, Molly R. Goodwin. Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice.
