Ruth E. Ellison

Ruth graduated from Franklin High School and Trevecca Nazarene College with a degree in education. She was a substitute teacher for many years. She loved to read and learn new things. She was a creative person who loved to do flower arranging, saw beauty in nature and loved to photograph it, enjoyed all types of music and finding deals at thrift shops. She never met a stranger and talked to everyone she would meet and was willing to help others.

While married to Gaylord Ellison, they adopted a baby girl, who was named Amie. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Amie Ellison of Lincoln, Nebraska; step children, Tammy (Ronnie) McKnight of Waco, Nebraska and Troy (Donelle) Ellison of York, Nebraska, her sister, Cindy (Jerry ) Back of Franklin, Ohio and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins and extended family.

Visitation for Ruth will be Monday, March 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. with Pastor Fred Hurst officiating.

Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, OH.
