

Sarah Jane Wilson of Franklin, Ohio died on August 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born on December 8, 1927 in Franklin the youngest daughter born to Samuel and Ruth Elwood Mixer Burdge. Sarah Jane was a spirited and witty individual with a unique sense of humor. She loved and was loved by many people. Sarah Jane attended Blue Ball Presbyterian church and worked at Eagle Equipment for 10 years in Franklin. She was an artist and a member of the Miamisburg Art Guild since 1967. Sarah Jane enjoyed dinner with her friends at the American Legion of Miamisburg and loved to travel, reading, music, a good card game, football, and dancing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved, husband, Harold V. Wilson in December of 1978; sisters, Marie Bond and Jean Sohn; and a brother, Sam "Bud" Burdge.
Sarah Jane is survived by her brother, Hale Burdge; sons; Craig (Tessie) Wilson of New Jersey and David (Nancy) Wilson of Kansas; and a daughter, Mary Anne Vice of Middletown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelly and Catherine Wilson and David (Janelle) Wilson, Denise Drapete and Diane (Michael) Breitenbach and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Don Clarkson officiating at Anderson Funeral Home (40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066) Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
