

Scot was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Mitchell and mother, Joann Mitchell (nee Wilson).
Scot is survived by his wife Lee Ann (nee Hassebrock) of 37 years; and his children, Evan (Aileena), Madison and Taylor. He will be remembered by his three grandchildren, Addilyn, Rhett and Aniya. Sisters and their families: Diana, Sean (Morgan), Tyler (Caitlin) and Jill, Kyle. And on his wife’s side, Layne and nieces and nephews: Cory (Carolina), Christopher (Brittany), Killian (Alli), and Logan (Dakota). Great nieces and nephews: Parker, Maverick, Sophia, Maya, Evie, Callie, Carson, Blake, And Beckett.
After graduating high school, Scot served in the US Army. He was a very proud patriot with strong belief in service and country. Scot was never scared to share his opinions and knowledge. He was a skilled craftsman and had several successful construction businesses.
At Scot’s request, there will be no formal service. Donations, if desired, can be made to National Kidney foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
