Shirley Fields

Shirley Louise Fields, age 79, of Springboro, OH; died Wednesday August 10, 2011 at Hillspring Nursing Home. Shirley was born in Dayton, OH on July 20, 1932 to George W. and Charlotte (Robinson) Brackney. She graduated from Springboro High School class of 1950 and lived in the area most of her life. Shirley worked as a nurse in Lebanon and had her own child care in Springboro for many years. She loved children and was blessed with one grandchild Charlotte Caldwell. She loved the outdoors and nature taking many walks. She was also a dietitian for several health care facilities. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son Grant Henry Caldwell, a brother Robert Brackney. In addition to her granddaughter Charlotte she is survived by a son George H. Caldwell and his wife Michelle; a brother George L. Brackney; 2 sisters Melva Burge and Jean Richards. A memorial service will be Sunday August 14, 2011 at 2pm at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev. Larry Lambes officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1pm until the time of the service. Following the service there will be a reception at the funeral home for family and friends.
