Steven Boyer, age 66, of Carlisle, Ohio, died Thursday June 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on November 30, 1949 to Reed and Della (Riddell) Boyer. Steve served in the National Guard from 1971 to 1977, he volunteered at the Franklin Food Pantry, and was a member of Quest Church. He was employed with Appleton Paper for 25 plus years and retired in 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Reed Boyer and mother, Della Jo Boyer. Steve is survived by his wife of 45 years Lucy J. (Squier) Boyer two sons, David Isaac (Amanda) Boyer, Patrick (Tracy) Boyer; granddaughter, Teagan Boyer; grandson, Samuel Boyer; beloved cousins and friends. Funeral services are 10:00 am Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Ken Henderson officiating. Burial will be in New Jersey Presbyterian Church Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
