The news of Sue's passing left us shocked, saddened, and at the same time feeling deeply blessed to have had the special privilege of knowing her and working with her. As parents we shared so much as our children grew up in Springboro and went to church & school together. As members of the community we found ourselves together in so many events and activities. As employees of the school system we shared so much in so many ways. Sue was a marvelous school secretary, a hardworking member of the community, a loving and caring mother, and dear friend. Our children Adam & Amanda remember her wonderful way of always making them feel special. Kim & J.D. stand out in my memories of the students that passed through my classroom and my time as advisor of the Teen Counselor organization as being caring, dedicated, kind, and pleasant ....all due largely to the example and guidance of Sue. Springboro was a better place because of Sue Mills and we are richer people because we were there with her. If we are judged by the way we lived our years and not how many years we lived, Sue's life was a triumphant success. We send Kim, J.D. and their families our love and heartfelt sympathy.

I loved Sue Mills. I loved having her children in my classes. No one ever really gets over losing someone so special, but it is my sincere hope that all of us who loved Sue Mills remembers that each of us carries a part of her in our hearts forevermore. The heartache does hurt, but the memories of Miss Sue we all own can never be taken away. Hugs to Kim and JD and all.

With tears in my eyes I extend my condolences to the children of Sue Ann and to her brother Bob Hible. My memory of Sue Ann, her brother Dick and brother Bob go back as far as I can remember. Sue Ann and her brother Dick were my playmates when we were growing up. I lived just two doors from the Hible family. I have too many memories to share but one really sticks out in my mind. There were a few times when I was invited to visit, with the Hible family, their grandparents farm just south of Danville. What a wonderful experience.
Sue Ann's children were probably too young to remember me but we were able to visit Bob and Sue Ann a couple of times when they lived in Dayton.
I feel like I'm missing a part of me knowing that Sue Ann is gone.

My heart sank with the news of the passing of my dear friend Sue Mills. From the day I walked into Springboro High School to the day she retired, Sue mothered over me like I was one of her own. I have never met a person who so willingly and insistently gave her time and efforts to others but refused any and all offers of return. While I recognize that I am just one of the many fortunate people to have known her, she made you feel special, and I will continue to miss her warm and smiling face when I walk through the doors of SHS. No matter the maelstrom, Sue was a constant and endearing presence in my and my wife’s lives. I shall always miss her but without fail each and every time I walk past her desk. Sue is and always will be SHS.

The loss of a dear loved one in death, is always a difficult and painful experience. A time when comfort is needed. May you find comfort in prayer, to "the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials." (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). It is through the privilege of prayer that we experience God's love in the most intimate way.

I am very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. May Jehovah the God of all comfort be with your family during this difficult time. The Bible promises at Acts 24:15, "that there will be a resurrection."

Sue was the perfect example of selfless giving to her community, her friends, and her family. She was a fixture in Springboro, someone we all expected to always be there, quietly serving the schools, the students, the athletes....standing in when parents could not be there, always offering a helping hand. Sue will be so missed by Springboro!

Sue was like a mother to me. She took care of me for many years at the high school when I was a teacher and later as Athletic Director. She would do anything in the world for you and saved my skin many times when I didn't have something in on time. She loved her "high school people" and we loved being around her. Samantha and I still have a tapestry she made for our wedding 30 years ago hanging over our bed. It will be a constant reminder of this wonderful woman. We will miss you Sue! Rest in Peace!

i am so saddened by the news of Sue's passing. She was a great friend and has done so much for this community. She will be greatly missed.

There will certainly be a void while attending Springboro games. Sue always welcomed us with a smile. We will miss you Sue. Perhaps you will scan our tickets when we get to Heaven.

I grew up in Tamarack Hills with the Mill's family. Sue used to time our swimming meets when I was in elementary and junior high school. I also had the privilege to babysit for JD and Kim. Later on, I fortunate to teach at SHS with her at the helm of the front office and always felt a special bond with her. We all felt a special bond with Sue. She listened and cared. She was helpful and concerned. She was involved and selfless. Sue, you left us way too soon but you will always be loved and forever be missed.

I have wonderful memories of times spent together. Lots of laughs and good times. Sue you will be missed by so any people, but will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts.

We love you Sue! You will be greatly missed. I am thankful to have had such a wonderful friend. I hope Sue was greeted in heaven with a big Margarita pitcher!

Sue and I had been best friends for many years. Through the good times and bad times we always stuck together. She was the friend who always stepped up to the plate, no questions asked. She loved her job, her co- workers and especially her family. We laughed through life of Schuster shows, redecorating her entire house, eating out, Bunco and trials and tribulations. I will miss her dearly.

Sue was a wonderful colleague and friend . She spent her life serving others.....she will be greatly missed by the students, staff, and community......

Sue, a lovely, gracious lady and a good friend. She touched my life and I will miss her.
