Thomas "Rooster" Edward Jeffery, age 73, of Germantown, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 20, 1949, the son of the late Charles E. and Claudine (McCoppin) Jeffery. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, Charles R. "Rusty" Jeffery.
Thomas is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Stella Jeffery; a nephew, Mike Jeffery and a niece, Marsha Murry.
Rooster was well known and loved by the Community of Germantown, where he served as an "unofficial" officer with the Germantown Police Department always looking out for others, especially the children of the town. He will be greatly missed and remembered by many.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street with Pastor Ted Ricci officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Ohio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday.
