Thomas Paul Thompson

Sgt. First Class Thomas Paul Thompson Jr., age 50, formerly of Franklin passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 in Nashville, TN. He was born January 23, 1966 is the son of Thomas Sr. and Betty (Blair) Noble.

Tom was on active duty for 26 years with the U.S. Army and most recently with the 467 Engineer Battalion stationed in Millington, Tn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jerri Lynn Noble, a brother, Timothy Ray Noble.

Tom is survived by his wife, JoAnne, children, Josiah, Trinity, Tyler (Chelsea) Feltner, Lauren (DeMarcus)Wilbon, Jonathan Stanley, Thomas Thompson, and Sarah Wallace. Also three sisters, Paula (Bo) Prichard, Lora Thompson and Rebecca (Robert) Webb; father, Jerome (Sherry) Noble; and two brothers, Todd (Kim) Noble and Trent (Jaime) Noble.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street, Franklin with Chaplain Chris officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Please visit www.anderson-fh.com to send an online condolence.
