
Thomas Paul Wurzelbacher, age 76, of Springboro, OH, passed away suddenly Monday September 17, 2018 at home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 12, 1942 to Francis and Josephine (Riehle) Wurzelbacher . Thomas was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, and made his career as a counselor and principal with Franklin City Schools until he retired in 2000. He was an avid Euchre player and golfer and touched countless lives over his 37 years in education. Tom enjoyed school sports and was a devoted fan of his Franklin Wildcats. He also enjoyed coaching his sons' baseball and soccer team. Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years Lynn Wurzelbacher, two sons, Michael (Eva) and Alan; two grandsons Tommie and Frankie: eight sisters, Sr. Thelma M Wurzelbacher, C.PP.S., Ellen (Greg) Yordy, Kathy (Steve) Zink; Judy (Louis) Broermann, Linda Wurzelbacher, Elaine (John) Bulach, Joan (Doug) Becker, Verna (Dave) Zahner; and brother, David (Chris) Wurzelbacher. Also two brother-in-law, Edward Raker and Don (Jan) Raker. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10:00 am at at St. Mary of the Assumption Church with Father James Manning officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main St Springboro. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
