Tony Ray Abston

Tony served in City of Franklin Fire Department for over 20 years and previously the Carlisle Fire Dept and JEM's.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Wyatt; stepfather, Frank Wyatt; stepmother, Donna Abston; brother-in-law, Don Dawkins; sister-in-law, Trish McDaniel; father-in-law, Gerald Dawkins; and stepfather, James Thomas Newkirk.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Dixie Abston; his father, three stepsons, Sean and Ryan Fletcher and Shea McNally; three brothers, Tony, Stephen, and Kenny Abston, also 6 beautiful grandchildren that meant the world to him, Sidney, Avery, Noah, Hadley, Kellen and Eli; three brothers-in-law's, Thomas (Holly) Newkirk and Shane (Linda) Newkirk and Charles McDaniel; four sisters-in-law, Kim Cullen, Carol, Janie, and Joanie; and special niece, Sarah Abston and several loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Vineyard Community Church 4900 North State Route 123 Franklin with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating.
