

Vada Miller, age 88, of Middletown, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2011 at Burlington House Nursing Facility. She was born to Ezra and Polly Hicks on September 22, 1922 in Knott County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Poasttown First Church of God. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Terry Reichenbach of Salt Lick, Kentucky, Lucette Isaacs of Middletown, Donna J.R. Cantwell of Ross; one son, E. J. Janet Miller of Frenchburg, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; four sisters; and nine brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Elisha Miller; one son, Daniel Miller; one sister, Mable Grubbs; three brothers, Chester, Elijah, and Eldon Hicks; son-in-law, Raymond Isaacs; three grandsons, Chris and Jay Cantwell and Mark Hunt; and one granddaughter, Melinda Willoughby. The family would like to thank Burlington House Nursing Facility and all the staff for taking such measures and going out of their way for us to take such great care of Vada. Also, thanks to Hospice of Cincinnati for taking care of her and making her feel comfortable in her time of need. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends! Vada always had a smile no matter the situation, and that is how she left this world. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with the Reverend Terry Reichenbach and Reverend Kenny Brewer officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
