

Victor L Holland, age 83, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Kettering Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1941 in Lerose, Kentucky to the late Clifton and Nannie Holland (Horn).
Vic volunteered and joined the United States Army at the age of 20, and was honorably discharged after 2 years of service during the Korean War. He was a proud soldier-a patriot indeed and had said he would still volunteer to protect our country's citizens. He attended Electrical School becoming an Electrician, and Electrical Inspector and a home inspector. Vic was also a devout Christian and served the Lord with his local church. His great joy and satisfaction was shepherding three congregations in KY and Ohio and then for 26 years he became a clergy/chaplain for Cedarview Rehab and Nursing Facility in Lebanon, Ohio. He also loved fishing, and hunting and had enough equipment to open a shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Todd Holland; sisters, Maxine Horst, and Bonnie Bowman; and brother, Willard Holland.
Vic is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bernice Holland (Turner); daughter, Tonya Rae Holland Yeakley (Jerry); grandchildren, Austin T.L. (Taylor) Rains, Alivia R.R. (Chris) Baer; and Andrew C.D. Rains; great grandchildren, Elliot and Eslee; daughter in law, Nancy Holland; sister, Ryan, Shannon, Kelly, Lola (Earl) Keller, Dorothy Brown; as well as many extended family and friends.
A Visitation for Vic will be Friday, October 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Freedom Worship Center, 90 Deardoff Rd, Franklin, OH, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chris Cramer officiating. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens with military honors.
