Viola Florence Thompson

Viola Florence Thompson, age 89, of Franklin, Ohio, died Friday July 8, 2016 at Otterbein Of Springboro. She was born in Williamsburg, Ohio on October 22, 1926 to Stanley and Grace (Collier) Snider. Viola was a 55 year member of O.E.S. Prosser Chapter #367 Middletown. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley E. Snider, mother, Grace L. Snider, husband, Donald Lee Thompson, a very special son-in-law Wayne Schmidt; brothers, Edwin L. Snider, Melvin Snider, Larry Snider, sister, Priscilla Griggs, grandson, David W. Schmidt, and granddaughter, Jenny McDonald. Viola is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Kay Schmidt, Donna Lee (Larry) Callahan; two sisters, Marcena Wilcher, Deloris Burke; three grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Funeral services are 10:00 am Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Reverend Don Clarkson officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
