Wayne Junior Nicholson, age 60, of Franklin, Ohio, died Tuesday June 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on March 27, 1957 to Don Nicholson and Florence Smith. Wayne served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a musician for forty years. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Nicholson, mother, Florence Smith, wife, Bess Nicholson, brother, Bobby Nicholson. Wayne is survived by his son, Justin Nicholson; daughter, Erika Newton; three grandchildren, Raven Newton, Tristen Newton, Keenon Newton; three brothers, Gerry Nicholson, Randy Nicholson, Richard Nicholson. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Monday June 19, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Danny Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
