William Oscar Potts

William O. Potts, age 98, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away Friday February 17, 2017 at Carlisle Manor. He was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 13, 1918 to the late William and Ottie Laura (Farrell) Potts. William was a member of First United Methodist Church of Springboro. He was employed with Frigidaire/GM for 32 years and also Head of Security at Southview Hospital for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Potts; grandson Billy and grandson, Doug; brothers, Vernon, Avery, Charles, sisters, Selma Cox and Mildred Tolle. William is survived by his three daughters, Judy (Mark) Bishop, Sue (Steve) Stevens, and Marcia (Robert) George; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 12:00 pm Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Amy Haines officiating. Entombment will be in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Donations can be made to Middletown Hospice.
