I will forever remember how he lit up with the biggest smile whenever he greeted his grandchildren. His arms always opened wide for a hug, which warmed my heart to witness. You knew his love for his family was unmistakable in those simple, beautiful moments.

In the many years I have been a part of the Del Rosario family, I have learned that he especially showed his love through his continuous dedication and sacrifice for the family, and of course, his famous cooking that was loved and cherished by many. That kind of love leaves a legacy. He passed that legacy on to his children, and I see it most clearly every day in the man I married. His resilience, deep sense of responsibility to provide for us, and how he treats me with such high regard–I know–are reflections of what he learned from you. 

Thank you for being a shining example of what it means to be a family man. Your influence lives on in our home, in your son, and in the life we continue to build. 

Your absence is deeply felt, and we miss you dearly. Thank you for the invaluable memories we will hold close to our hearts.

My dad excited to witness Mika and I getting married. He enjoyed being on the dance floor with family and friends. We miss you dad.

First trip to the Philippines with mom and dad. As a kid, it was amazing to see where they had grown up. It was fun and unforgettable experience we all had together. Miss you dad.

When I first met you, you shared your stories of fishing in Sacramento and told me you catch bigger fish in the lake than you did the ocean and went & showed me your frozen fish you caught at the back freezer. You made me feel welcomed before I joined the Del Rosario family. 

I’m honoured to have met you, the Guardian of all the grandchildren at Sycamore. I’m happy you got to meet your grandsons to carry your family name. 

You are deeply missed papa Berto! Rest easy & may the perpetual light shine upon you. May you rest in peace.

Daddy Bert, I remember the times we spent together,  sharing stories , playing games, and just enjoying each other's company. I'll cherish those moments forever. Your wisdom, kindness, and love will always be with me, guiding me through life's ups and downs.
Rest in peace, Daddy Bert. I'll miss you and I'll continue to make you proud by living with the values you taught me.
