Angel Potente Moral

Angel is predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Modesta Morena Moral, who he married on November 10, 1949 in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines.

Angel is survived by his loving children—Angelita, Romulo, Clarito, Edna, Soledad, Melisa, and Miriam.

Angel is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren—Bernadette, Aldrin, Ryan, Jerome, Jaymee, Jeffrey, Jacylyn, Michael, Josette, Madeline, Maricris, Joshua, Justin, Kendrick, Janeane, and Kathryn; and his great grandchildren—Jayden, Julianne, Allyjia, Kaiden, and Kiara.

Angel was born in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines on October 1, 1926. At a young age, he joined the resistance against the Japanese invasion of the Philippine Islands as a guerilla member. His efforts to support his country have gained him the recognition by the United States as a World War II Veteran. Angel was a Jack of all trades. He worked as a jeepney driver, farmer, fisherman, auto mechanic, plumber, painter, and an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force base in Wake Island.

Angel enjoyed being surrounded by his big family. He loved gardening and doing work around his house and his children’s houses. He was a busy body and always needed something to do. He also enjoyed walking, exercising, and watching boxing.

Towards the end of his life, Angel longed for his wife, and cherished each moments he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Angel was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be truly missed by his loved ones and his memories will remain in their hearts forever.

Refreshments will be served throughout the viewing times on August 13 and 14. Reception after the Burial on August 15, will be held at World Gourmet Buffet, 6010 Stevenson Boulevard Fremont, CA 94538, between 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
