Our beloved Aurelia Misenas Felix was born in Cavite City, Philippines. Her parents were Ignacio and Felisa Misenas, and she was the 3rd child of 9 children. She grew up in Cavite City and her family later moved to Manila. She had received her High School Diploma and completed her college education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She then got married and had 2 children, Arlene and Jennifer. She migrated, with her family, to San Francisco, CA on December 18, 1982. Afterwards, she moved to San Jose, CA in 1984 where she stayed.
Aurelia passed away at the age of 92 on August 4, 2023.
It has been difficult saying goodbye to our beloved Aurelia, who we love very much. She was an amazing woman full of love, wisdom, and faith. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ignacio and Felisa Misenas; her siblings; her children, Arlene Rivera, Jennifer Misenas, son-in-law Edwin Rivera; her grandchildren, Stacey Bermudez (Michael), Shannel Turner (Donovan), and Jordan Ted Rivera; and her great grandchildren, Donovan Turner Jr., Kaila Turner, Lucas Bermudez, and Madelyn Bermudez. Aurelia was very much loved and adored by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be missed very much.
A visitation for Aurelia will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539. A funeral mass will occur on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 10:30 AM at St. Victor’s Catholic Church, 3108 Sierra Rd, San Jose, CA 95132.
