Ba Thi Luong was born on July 05, 1937 in Kieng Giang City, Vietnam with her parents and ten siblings. During her adult life she lived away from her family in SaiGon city to make a living. She always took care of her parents. In 1989, she escaped from Vietnam to Malaysia and was granted entrance to the United States and been living in California ever since. She has four daughters. In 2006, her third daughter had passed away at the age of 39 and since then her grief never left her. She since learned that life is too short so she was really into spiritual praying and since she is a Buddhist, she had decided to devote all her time in the temple praying. During her last days of her life all her children were by her side till her last breath. She left behind three children, a son-in-law and three grandchildren that she loved dearly.
