

Cecil was born on February 1, 1944 in Tondo, Manila, Philippines to Magno and Nestoria Reyes. He was the eldest of 10 children. He has left behind his wife, Elisa Reyes, daughter, Rocelie R. Reyes-Biliditto, and his grandchildren, Giovani Christopher Reyes-Biliditto and Alyana Tifny Reyes-Biliditto.
He is also survived by his siblings: Ricky Reyes (Fremont), Edna Nallas (Fremont), Danny Reyes (Australia), Evelyn Reyes (New York), Edgar Reyes (Irvine), Minda Solomon (Panorama City), Elvie Valero (New York), Marissa Weatherford (Livermore), & Magno Reyes Jr (Santa Clara).
Cecil was loving, active, generous, helpful, & compassionate. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping, gardening, & as a true mechanic, he loved to fix things. He also loved to watch boxing, football and basketball. And he often reminisced about vacations, work, and other fond memories of his full & blessed life.
He received his BA Auto Mechanic in the Philippines. He retired as a Supervisor, Mechanic, VMF for the United States Postal Service having worked there for over 30 years. Cecil was also an active member of the St. John the Baptist Church, Knights of Columbus, Army Reserves, Fil-Am Group & Social Justice, & Fil-Am of Milpitas.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10am, St. John The Baptist, Milpitas. His final resting place is at the Lima Family Cemetery in Fremont, CA
