

Born in the town of San Fabian, Pangasinan, Philippines in 1932, she grew up in a challenging but humble and blessed surroundings, having Catholic nuns a constant influence on her life from early childhood to adolescence. She completed her High School Years at St. Scholastica College, Manila and pursued a Degree in Education from Arellano University, Manila. She later practiced her passion for teaching kids at grade schools in Aringay, La Union, Philippines. She immigrated to the United States in the mid 1980’s, petitioned by her 2 eldest sons, Arnold Sr and Edwin. Consuelo then set out on a mission and was successful in petitioning the rest of her children to the US and able to guide the whole family to build a life here.
Her unwavering Faith to God guided her life, her approach to motherhood and determined handling of trials and tribulations.
As a mother of 8 and a grandmother of 16, she instilled her strong values and religious beliefs in her family. She led by example, volunteering at Catholic Church functions and actively leading a Rosary Prayer Group going house-to-house to pray and share the Marian Devotion. Her home was a haven for prayer and support, not just for her children but others in need of guidance and comfort.
Consuelo enjoyed spending time with her friends, a social butterfly. And with her affable and gracious personality, she gives life to a party. She marveled at traveling and going out to places. She most truly cherished her pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Israel, and walked where Jesus walked.
She was a great Mom who brought all her children with their own unique personalities together as much as she could with kindness and thankfulness to God. She always loved and looked forward to all the time she can spend with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Domingo, children Arnold Sr, Edwin, Marita, Dino, Jon, Connie, Medy and Don, in-laws Dolores, Josephine, Mia, Raima, Ami, Michael and Khanthaly, and her precious grandchildren Arnold Jr, Antonette, Allison, Edwin, Jacob, Dillon, Raymond, Russel, Angelo, Joseph, Steven, Aaron, Jason, Sabina, Leanna and Kaylee.
