You will be deeply missed by many,  Dennis.  Sending my sincere condolences to the family.  I will always have you in my heart. Prayers to your family at this most difficult time. 

Dennis is a childhood friend, a kumpare and one of my late Tatay Tom’s refrigeration and air conditioning OJTs favorite. My father was fond of his attitude towards work and proud that he mentored him.
A quiet and a great thinker- person I know.
Growing up with circle of friends like him and his sisters was always great childhood memories to me.
His sudden and untimely passing made us all sad. 
For Dennis, is like a family to us. And wherever nook he is now in Heaven, I am pretty sure that he never ceases to look after his family, relatives and friends.
His sincerity will always be remembered.

Tito Dennis,  I remember this being the day after our outing to Laguna around 5 years ago.
Before this day, we had a conversation in which I shared the last memory of my father on his deathbed 11 years ago. Mama and Niña were saying their own good-byes to Papa. I'm just silent and speechless. I even told you that was my greatest regret—not properly saying goodbye to Papa. I tried not to cry in front of you when I told this story, but what you did was only tap on my shoulders and say it's ok to cry. It's our own way to become stronger, and I realize afterwards that my tears are falling on their own. Then you said that's the reason you worked so hard to bring your family to the United States. Especially, you don't want Tricia growing up without any father figure, so you asked me if I had the opportunity to stay here in the Philippines instead, without sacrificing Athalie's childhood growing up without me by her side.

Another conversation we had was when I was in my 4th year of high school and Mama, Papa, and Niña were already in Palawan. This is a video call from Skype while I'm still staying in Navotas and you are already in the States. I asked you why Papa doesn't want me to stay in Manila to finish my college? You answered simply that it's not because Papa doesn't want me to be independent, but because Papa wants us to stick together so he can see us growing up. That answer of yours hit me on the spot and made me realize what my papa was thinking all those times.

Every moment you ensure that you'll bring good memories to Tita Jo, Pat and Tricia through your excursions and road trips. 

You always put your family first above anything else, that is the reason why I look up to you and see you as my epitome of fatherhood.

You’ve been a great friend and companion to both my brother Jon and Tatay Tom… A helping hand when they have repair jobs or something  to fix at home… My Tatay for sure will welcome you in heaven with a hug when he sees you but will be sad that you have to leave your loved ones so sudden and soon…  We know that though life is short you have lived it full of passion and zest to give your best to your love ones and friends.. You’ll always be remembered fondly for the good person that you were and we’ll keep you and your loved ones in our thoughts and  prayers that they maybe comforted in this time of grief…
