Gail Siu Cheung was born on September 6, 1946 in Hong Kong. Her travels took her to Hawaii, then up and down the West Coast, and settling in the San Francisco Bay Area. Every step of the way, she was dedicated to her family, and especially her two sons, husband, and five grandchildren. Her strength and ability to persevere, while being "Dai Yee" to everyone, will always be remembered.
"And now, she's free. Free from pain on the earthly plane, free to exist in the beyond. Perhaps as a light-footed, delicate white crane, wading through a pond at twilight." - Eugene's friend Kat, in a letter written to him dedicated to Gail.
