Jerry Lagotin Agonoy Sr.

Jerry finished high school and was attending college in the Philippines before immigrating to the United States. Jerry worked for Quantum electronics for over 10 years and ended his working career as a Skycap for San Jose Mineta International Airport. Jerry has been married to his loving Wife for over 40 years and had two children.

Jerry Agonoy was an outgoing, charismatic, individual who genuinely enjoyed spreading happiness through singing and performing. Jerry had an eclectic taste in music. He sang a variety of genres such as classic rock, pop, disco and country. Jerry was the family’s entertainer during gatherings and social events. His enthusiasm would light up any room.

When Jerry was not singing and entertaining, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Jerry was an amazing cook, and an avid storyteller who loved sharing stories with his family and loved ones.

His other hobbies included competing in darts, billiards, and collecting vintage coins. He enjoyed action films and watching sports. On special occasions, Jerry loved going to local casinos to spend time with his Wife and relatives.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Clara Agonoy, wife, Dionicia, son Jerry Jr, daughter Jennifer and his siblings, David, Alona, Gina and Hernani. Grandchildren Caiya, Alana, Camryn, Amerie, and Gia.

He is preceded in death by his father Tarmenio Agonoy, mother in-law Macaria Foronda, sister in-law Maria Foronda, brother in-law Cenon Foronda, and sister in-law Soledad Salvador.

Those who knew Jerry will always remember a sense of joy, a feeling he effortlessly conveyed through his songs.

Visitation will occur Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.

A rosary night will occur Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.

Funeral mass will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 279 S Main St, Milpitas, CA 95035.

Burial will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539
