Juanito Gatchalian Bocalig, 77, was born in Nangcayasan, Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Philippines on July 9, 1937, to parents Juan Bocalig and Hospicia Gatchalian. He passed away on August 13, 2014, peacefully in his own home. He is survived by his wife, Felicitas Fabro Bocalig, his six children Isidoro (married to Amalia), Mercedita (married to Raul Sabiniano), Jufel (married to Holly), Junifel (married to James Gutierrez), Judith (married to Dean Alvarado), and John (married to Czarina). He is also survived by two siblings Eliseo (married to Priscilla) and Elizabeth (married to Avelino Bugarin). He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is predeceased by his daughter Adora Bocalig. Juanito was a loving husband, brother, Pa, G.G. Pa, and friend. He will be remembered by his humor; love of carpentry, gardening, landscaping, traveling, and inventing; and after he retired, his love of Pai Gow Poker. May he peacefully rest in his heavenly gardens.
