

Linh Vo was born on May 1st,1941 and passed away on June 13,2014 at Stanford Hospital, California. Linh was a quiet and thoughtful man. He went through his aviation training at Naval Air Station Pensacola,Florida and also with the Special Operation Squadron at England Air Force Base,Louisiana. During the Vietnam War, Linh had flown numerous Close Air Support missions. He had served with the 518th and 520th squadrons as a flight leader. His comrades in arms remembered Major Linh Vo as a dedicated Operation Officer of the 532nd squadron. After the fall of Saigon in 1975, he migrated to the United States of America and was a proud US citizen. He was an electrical drafter at Applied Materials until he retired in the mid-2000.
After many years of illness and reflection, Joseph Linh Vo decided to enter the Catholic Church in March 2014. He is survived by his wife of 21years, Mary Thu Nguyen, and his three children, Phuong Vo (son), Chi Vo (daughter), and Long Vo (son). The family would like to extend sincere and heartfelt thanks to the team of doctors, nurses, and staff at Stanford Hospital for their professionalism, kindness, compassion, and excellent care.
