

Lora Lynn A Coyoca was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and joy to be around. To family and friends who knew her best, Lora Lynn will be remembered as a very exceptional person, always smiling and with the biggest heart of them all.
Lora Lynn was born on December 8, 1981 at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara, CA, to Raul and Evelyn Coyoca. Lora Lynn grew up in San Jose and Fremont, California.
Lora Lynn has one older sister, Trisha Mae. Lora Lynn was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her sibling. They shared so many life experiences over the years considering they were only 18 months apart and even moreso when Lora Lynn became a special needs person due to a car accident they were both involved in Oct 1987.
As a young girl, Lora Lynn had a number of interests. Like most children, she enjoyed playing and making up games. She was curious about the world around her and was often eager to explore it. Lora Lynn was an active child who took part in sports and learned to play the piano. In her spare time she liked playing computer and riding her bike. However, to Lora Lynn, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with her family and friends.
As a teenager with special needs, Lora Lynn had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. She graduated from Irvington High School in Fremont in 2003. She enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. Her favorite class in high school was computer class. The teachers she enjoyed learning from the most were Mr. Stanley and Mr. O'Neill.
After high school, Lora enjoyed babysitting her nephews, Bryce and Bryant. But her greatest joys were karaoke and the fun place, the casinos!
Lora Lynn’s faith was important to her. She was a member St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Milpitas, Our Lady of Peace Church, Santa Clara, and St. Bernard's Church in Tracy. She often followed weekday masses at EWTN channel.
Lora Lynn enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. Favorite vacations included family trips to the Philippines, Thanksgivings in Las Vegas, Annual trips to Tahoe and Oceanside/San Diego, and an Alaskan Cruise with family.
Lora Lynn was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of her favorites was Cingy, an Alaskan Huskie. They were best friends for 8 years.
Lora Lynn passed away on August 31, 2011 in the arms of her mother, Evelyn, and her father, Raul, and sister Trisha by her side. Lora Lynn fought a brave battle against colon cancer. She is survived by her parents, Raul and Evelyn; her older sister, Trisha Mae; her nephews, Bryce and Bryant; her Grandmother, Edith, and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. Services will held at St. John the Baptish Church, Milpitas. Lora Lynn will be laid to rest in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Fremont, CA.
Simply stated, Lora Lynn was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as smiley, happy person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Lora Lynn leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember her.
