Margaret Edwards

Margaret Edwards was born on February 5,1932, in Oakland, California to Ulysses and Louisa Rivera. Who both preceded her in death. She had 5 sisters and 1 brother. Katherine, Rosie, Louise, Frances, and Sonny. On June 27th, 1948, Margaret was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life Glenn Edwards SR. To this union three children were born. In 1968 they moved to Livermore, California where they lived and raised their beautiful children. Margaret made many friends in Livermore and opened her home to many. She loved the Lord. And loved taking care of her Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. She also loved to party and dance and was very feisty. She loved playing BINGO and going to the Casinos and listening to music. After many years she moved to Stockton, California with her oldest daughter. Margaret was preceded in death by her Husband Glenn Edwards SR, Sisters; Katherine Hamm, Rosie Ferdinand, Louise Martinez, Frances Carter and Brother; Sonny Rivera and Granddaughter Jennifer Hurtado. She leaves to cherish her legacy and memory to her three children: Deborah Almendarez of Stockton, CA; Cynthia and Art Hurtado of Livermore, CA; Glenn Edwards JR and Tamara Edwards of Newman, CA. Grandchildren: Michelle and Willie Turner, Daniel and Andrea Almendarez, April and Ron Holder, Renee and Eric Gonzales, Melissa and Tyler Douglass, Anthony and Victoria Ross, Chantel and Nebban Jordan, Tierney and Jorge Renteria, Autumn Edwards, Sarelle and Shawn Ketcher, Destiny and Jeffrey Jordan, and Princess(Sarah) Edwards. Great Grandchildren: Miko Reyes, Merissa Castillo, MesMariah Reyes, Gilbert Castillo III, Joseph and Rose Almendarez, Cisco Ross, Alex and Lexi Almendarez, Eric Gonzalez JR, Elise Jordan, Brayden Jordan, Aidan Gonzalez, Markus Turner, Nebban Jordan JR, Ariella Holder, Naylor Jordan, Elena Ross, Addison Holder, Jesssa Jordan, Emma Ketcher, Lilyana Ross, Jeffrey Jordan JR, Emmett Ketcher, Enzo Ross, Benjamin Renteria, Michael Ray and Rosa Reyes, Bubba (Rodrigo) Reyes. Great Great Grandchildren: Elijah Garcia-Castro, Avaleia Garcia- Castro, Miliani Knighten,Kora Almendarez and Maya and Maleah Reyes. And a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed, forever embedded into our hearts and loved by all eternally.
