
Margarito Espinoza P. passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on January 13, 2014 at the age of 92. He was a longtime resident of Hayward, California. Margarito was born on September 30, 1921 to Ventura Espinoza and Carmen Padilla in Le Soledad, Michoacán, Mexico. One of seven children, Margarito loved his family and was constantly surrounded by them. He was a very hard worker, especially at his place of employment for many years, Safeway in Richmond, CA. On February 9, 1942 he married the love of his life Margarita, and went on to have 11 children. In his later years, his favorite past time was to take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful scenery around him. He is survived by his brother Ventura, sisters, Guadalupe, Soledad, and Carmen; his children, sons Javier and Ventura, and Daughters, Consuelo, Carmen, Maria, Elsa, Lourdes, Guadalupe, Margarita, and Soledad, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Margarita, brother Jesus, sister Macaria, and son Luis. Margarito was the beloved Patriarch of his family, lovingly called Mito by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be very much missed by those who loved him. The Rosary will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Leandro Funeral Home, 407 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro, CA 94577. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Church, 22824 2nd St., Hayward, CA 94541 .
