Maria Garcia Foronda

Maria is survived by her husband, Tony; daughters Sarah Foronda and Michelle Foronda Gonzalez; brothers Primo, Anacleto, Antonio, Alberto, Dominador and Eddie; sisters Ines Lilia and Rosita. She is also survived by her loving grandson, Jordan Gonzalez and sons-in-law John Gonzalez and Mark Guerra and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Garcia and Petra Guerrero Garcia as well as as her brothers, Calixto and Manuel.

Maria was born on February 6, 1953 in Bacarra of Ilocos Norte in the Philippines. She married her loving husband, Tony on December 17, 1976 and soon after emigrated to California making Milpitas her home.

Upon arriving in the San Francisco Bay Area, Maria started working in the electronics industry and enjoyed a fruitful and distinguished career spanning over 35 years. She was a dedicated team player whose work ethic and driven personality contributed to the entire organization’s success.

Maria had many interests outside of work some of which included cooking, gardening, and helping others. She was also a devout Catholic and a frequent parishioner at St. John’s Catholic Church in Milpitas.

Her passion, caring nature and vitality will endure in our hearts and minds and provide us the comfort and strength to honor her memory.
