Joan Harris of Dublin was called home March 1, 2013 at the age of 83. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by her son Tom Harris, daughter Kitty Eiden, son-in-law David Eiden, grandsons Michael Boydstun and his wife Kathryn, Steve Harris, Nick Eiden, grand-daughters Jamie Weatherby and husband Christopher Weatherby and Bonnie Boydstun, great-granddaughters, Annabelle and Emmaline Weatherby, great-grandsons, Michael Kolbek and Demetrius Stone. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Fred Harris and daughter, Christine Boydstun.
A retired Registered Nurse who worked at various hospitals and emergency rooms throughout the Bay Area. Joan was an avid Oakland A’s fan. She loved to travel, crochet and read. She was a member of St. Clare’s Episcopal Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Clare’s Episcopal Church 3350 Hopyard Road in Pleasanton and Interment at Memory Gardens 3873 East Avenue Livermore at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St Clare’s Episcopal Church.
